Yesterday at church was interesting. About 20 min. before church is done, the nursery leaders come running out into the hall to tell me that Julia is throwing up all over. I walked in just as they were ushering the other kids into the room next door. There Julia sat, covered, and the floor was covered. My first thought... where do I start? So, I stripped Julia down to her pull-up, wrapped her in a blanket, and went home. The good part, she didn't get sick anymore. She was hungry right away and acted like nothing had happened. I think it all had to go down at church so I could learn a little more humility. Having kids has stretched me in ways I don't think could have been possible otherwise. I was also reminded how much I love my kids and would do anything for them, even clean up yucky messes :-).
